CIW Web Foundations (CIW) is offering California teachers a generous and free professional development and certification in CIW Web Foundation courses. Having programs that offer professional certifications will be increasingly important as measures for “college and career readiness” and will likely impact a school’s score on California’s Academic Performance Index.
The Professional Development program from CIW will give teachers the opportunity to learn the critical technologies embedded within CIW certifications, and also become familiar with CIW’s certification program. The CIW Web Foundations Associate series of certifications gives a unique understanding of Internet business, data networking and Web site design.
The free offer is for two teachers and one administrator from each school to received free training and certification in ONE of the following three CIW Web Foundation certification courses:
- Internet Business Associate; or,
- Site Development Associate; or,
- Network Technology Associate.
This offer includes all course materials (book and Web-based tools), and a proctored certification exam.

CIW’s mix of online synchronous and asynchronous training sessions is used to make it easy to learn. Choose one of the session periods listed below and select one of the above CIW Associate course for your group of learners.
