The Office of Entrepreneurship + Innovation at Arizona State University (ASU) is reaching out to all teachers with an opportunity to apply for the Verizon Innovative Learning Grant. Here is a Video Overview of the program.

The Verizon Innovative Learning Design Thinking Program is a hands-on learning program that promotes entrepreneurship, design thinking, and technology and partnerships in the community. The program can be implemented in any classroom, and has been used exceptionally well in Career Technical Education courses. As part of the program, the students partner with a local business to develop a technology solution.
This competitive program is expanding for the 2017-2018 academic year. Up to 30 selected high schools will receive:
- $20,000 STEM grant to implement the program over the course of two years
- Ongoing professional development from ASU
