Chris Spetzler, Executive Director of the Decision Education Foundation (DEF) announced this week that the DEF is launching a California initiative to empower students with effective decision skills. DEF’s focus is to help teens make the most of the decisions that will impact the rest of their life. Students who make better decisions are more likely to have better life outcomes.
Decision Education Foundation was founded in 2001 by leading decision professionals and academics, including Ron Howard of Stanford and founders of the Strategic Decisions Group. DEF takes an approach that leverages normative and behavioral aspects of decision science, integrating applied mathematics as well as psychology to address choice under uncertainty.
