“Exemplar School” Status Offered by P21

The Partnership for 21st Century Skills (P21) invites you to apply for “Exemplar School” status so you can share your innovative learning practices with a national audience.  If you have implemented exemplary 21st century learning practices that are improving student learning please consider applying so others can learn from your example.

Schools that apply and appear to have exemplary 21st learning practices are selected for an evaluation visit by the P21 team. The Team evaluates the school using the P21 Exemplar Evaluation Tool, based on the criteria below:

  1. Evidence of commitment to college, career, and life readiness
  2. Educational support systems and sustainable design
  3. Engaged learning approaches
  4. Equitable student access to 21st century learning
  5. Evidence of student acquisition of 21st century knowledge and skills
  6. Partnerships for sustainable success

The application date has been extended to January 31, 2014… so hurry and apply! Savanna High School in Anaheim California applied and was given this status last summer.
