Every student in the Foshay Tech Academy – and a large percentage of all students at Foshay in grades in K-12 – have completed the Hour of Code <http://csedweek.org/> challenge.
The goal is to get 10 million students to code for an hour this week – the site is now up to nearly 9 million – and if your student’s haven’t participated you can help meet the goal!
Here is a link to the news that highlights the great work being done at the academy: http://www.good.is/posts/if-a-90-year-old-can-learn-to-code-what-s-your-excuse
Congratulations to Leslie Aaronson for her leadership at the academy and in the Los Angeles area!
