Code.org has just launched Monthly Meetings to bring community to teachers who use the Exploring Computer Science (ECS) curriculum. ECS may be taught as an academic or Career Technical Education course.
The first meeting was held on September 1st and was recorded for those who did not attend. Flo Vaughn, a veteran ECS teacher from Oakland Public Schools kicked off the meeting with general tips on how to work with students to get them ready for the school year. The monthly meetings are a way for teachers to connect with each other and to find and share resources.
Teachers who are thinking about implementing ECS at their school may want to tune in to the free Monthly Meeting webinars to learn more about the curriculum.
