Unlike other professionals, and despite near-universal agreement on the importance of teaming, teachers do not typically work in teams. In the case of Information Technology (IT) subjects, many CTE teachers are isolated and lack a Professional Learning Community to collaborate with and to make adjustments to instruction and assessments.
Please meet John Rosendahl, from the Chino area, who is a teacher who would like to collaborate! I met John last week at a workshop designed to help teachers develop or modify courses to meet University of California a-g requirements. John would like to meet and collaborate with other teachers on a new computer science course and information technology. California needs good IT courses that teachers want to teach, and that will prepare students for this exciting career field.
If this is an area of your interest, please contact John by email at: John_Rosendahl@chino.k12.ca.us
